HAPPY BIRTHDAY (May 5) SEAN STEPHENSON

Yesterday was my former mentor and coach Sean Stephenson's birthday. He would be 44 today. He meant so much to so many people, me included. It was with Sean that I truly felt what it meant to be loved by a teacher.  I learned so much about who I am as a human being and despite all of the paper tigers that I (no one else) placed in my way, Sean walked his talk with dignity and heart. He demonstrated the odds we stack against us are easily overcome, with discipline and self-control. At first glance you feel he is flawless. What made him real and relatable was that he shared his flaws with us. He wasn't perfect. He invited you to grow with him. However, he possessed a divine magic - that charismatic quality you adore because he wore his heart on his sleeve. In time we learned, as did he that her name was Mindie Kniss.

Through Sean Stephenson I met some wonderful, world class human beings with whom I align. People who were authentic and doing what they are meant to do for others.; using their gifts to share their love for humanity. One of them is Mindie Kniss, who became my mentor and coach. In the three years I worked with Mindie I learned the value of my heart and what the world needs to feel from me. I gained Clarity as to why I’m here and what I’m here to do; the Courage: to access the strength I already had to make your dream / my destiny a reality; and the Conviction to stop sabotaging my own plans to up-level my life and purpose.

Another World Class Human Being is Mike Domitrz (and his lovely wife Karen Kleckner Domitrz). Mike and Karen are now very close friends to my bride Mandee and me. I first met Mike at Sean’s 10K’18. I learned more about my unique ability from Mike and the value of Respect. Within minutes of meeting me Mike and Karen, he dubbed me ‘The Connection Expert’. (More on that later). It was clear to me that in order to Love one must have respect for everything first. I cherish the relationship Mandee and I have with Mike and Karen.

Brian Drury is another World Class Human Being who also connected with me at 10K’18, when he offered to make himself available to my daughter after learning about her disability. Brian is authentic. shared his tears with me. He was genuine and concerned. I was present when Brian gave his inaugural message that put him on the world stage. His talk was soon picked up by GoalCast, an organization empowers millions of people to live life with purpose. More than a content production powerhouse, GoalCast connects human beings seeking truth and authenticity.  His life story about that defining moment - showed me how our personal story defines who we are in an instant, and delivers us our personal challenge and purpose. Brian and I will always have that special bond because of his heart.

Peter Bielagus is one of the most open and approachable world class human beings I have ever met. He too was a speaker at Sean’s 10K’18. I went up to Peter at the close of the event and I was immediately struck by his compassion and attentiveness to what I had to say. I learned a thing or two about real listening from him, as well as how the secret to happiness is not money but rather how we use it. It was actually Peter who introduced Mandee and I to Mindie Kniss. He felt the best direction for me in pursuing my purpose was to follow my heart. That meant taking Mindie’s HeartPath.

Mindie Kniss has been a true guide for me and where I am today. and where I am today is because of my connection to Sean Stephenson. He left me with many new and wonderful World Class Human Beings and the realization that World Class means something more than ‘earthbound’. It is ascension to a higher place in the universe, but recognizing we are all relatives on this planet, and that it is up to us to make it a better place. A place where Truth resides. In the Heart. Where Respect is abundant. Love endures. Authenticity thrives and Compassion keeps us open.

Mandee and I met many others through my relationship with Sean. Their goodness, kindness and continued meaningful relationships is also greatly appreciated. Because of our direct connection to Sean, I must name them here as well. Thank you Chas Allen, Jessica Chase, Winston Ben Clements, Tim Fox, Rene Godefroy, Matt Grace, Nathan-Gutierrez

Happy Birthday Sean. You succeeded in ridding me of my insecurity. I know that is one of the many pieces which makes you happy. And I am eternally grateful.
