THE SNÖ-GLÖB® TECHNIQUE

$249.00

THE SNÖ-GLÖB® is a technique created and developed by Doug McDade to help on-camera and stage actors understand the power of external projection. Placing one’s SNÖ-GLÖB® at a lesser-used sightline within the active range and scope of the lens allows the actor to keep their eyes available to the camera. This allows the viewer of the performance to stay engaged with the performer because it keeps the frame of reference on the same plane as the lens of the camera. The negative alternative is for the actor to drop focus to the floor, where the performer’s eyes are no longer available to the camera or the viewer.®
